Germains offers industry-leading conventional and organic seed solutions for onions and other vegetable species. Our team of industry experts is here to work in collaboration with you to provide seed treatments that are appropriate for your cultivation practices, disease, and insect pressures. SGE was founded in 1996, at the kitchen table of Robert and Pam Hinnant of Vidalia, GA.
From these humble beginnings, we have become one of the top produce handling equipment solution providers in North America, with placements ranging from Mexico to Canada and all areas of the U.S., as well as various other foreign countries. In 2016, the Hinnants brought in Tony Mimbs as Chief Operating Officer, who is tasked with developing expansion plans to add multiple new locations to current locations in Vidalia, GA and Ontario, OR, and to assist SGE in moving to the next level of providing our customers with the best productivity, efficiency and quality improvement solutions offered in today’s market.
