National Onion Association members had a grand ole’ time July 13-17 in Nashville, Tenn., while also getting up to speed with the latest legislative efforts and issues facing the onion industry, including shipping and trucking issues. Members heard from Jennifer McIntyre, senior vice president of Food Safety for United Fresh Produce Association, and Peter Friedmann, executive director of the Agriculture Transportation Coalition. The NOA wishes to thank its sponsors for helping make this trip possible, including silver sponsors Paradigm Fresh, Rietveld Equipment, and Symach/Eqraft; bronze sponsors Tolsma USA, and Palogix; partner sponsors Industrial Ventilation, American Takii, Teleos Ag Solutions, Germains Seeds and AgPak; and friend sponsors, Skagit Seed and Garner-Lanfeld Packaging.
