One of the most popular happenings at the late July PMA Foodservice Conference & Expo in gorgeous Monterey, CA, is the VIP Buyers Brunch co-sponsored by Idaho-Eastern Oregon Onion Committee/USA Onions and Southwind Farms of Idaho.
This year’s event, the fourth annual, will be held at the Montrio Bistro on Saturday, July 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. just prior to the expo’s opening. The Montrio, which is very near the show’s main venue Portola Hotel, boasts Chef Tony Baker and his staff, and the brunch features signature dishes using IEO onions and fingerling potatoes from the Snake River Valley’s Southwind Farms.
