Shane Curry, a native of Mount Vernon, GA, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. With a background in agribusiness and environmental education, Curry has spent seventeen years working with the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension, where he has received recognition for his dedication to agricultural research and extension programs.
“I’m excited to get this opportunity to work in the Vidalia Onion industry,” expressed Curry. “Having grown up in the area, I understand the importance of Vidalia onions to our community and look forward to working closely with Vidalia onion growers to further elevate the industry.”
