Utah:
Onions out of Corinne, UT, handled by The Onion House in Weslaco, TX, will start shipping Oct. 5-10, according to Chuck Hill of the Texas office. Chuck said everything looks good.
California:
Robert Bell with Western Onions said that company began its Cuyama harvest on Aug. 31, with 700,000 pounds of long day organics going into storage daily. Harvest will run about six weeks, he said, adding that the onions look great.
