With its familiar faces and colorful, lively booth, Gills Onions of Oxnard, CA, has attained what can be considered “landmark” status at PMA Foodservice, and OnionBusiness is always happy to stop by and say hi.
This year’s return to a live show after 2020’s shutdown due to COVID-19 is a homecoming of sorts for everyone in the industry, and Megan Jacobsen, Gills Vice President of Sales/Marketing, said that company is happy to be a part of it.
“Steven Gill and I will be working this year’s booth,” Megan told us. Gills is centrally located on the exhibit floor in Booth 415.
Megan said that the top benefit of the show is networking, and she noted that “2020 was challenging for our foodservice and fresh produce industry, and we are really looking forward to reconnecting with our industry friends.”
She added that while time and circumstances bring change, Gills remains steadfast in its primary commitment. “Our message has adapted as foodservice has changed, but the one key message has not changed – Gills is here to help your restaurant,” she said.
