Don’t forget to register in advance online for this year’s IFPA Global Produce and Floral Show, which is set for Oct. 17-19 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
There will be no registration kiosk at the event; advance registration for admission is required.

This year’s event promises to be a record-breaker, with more than 1,000 exhibits showcasing produce and floral from around the globe. Onions, as always, are well-represented – 85 booths are included in the trade show, with many Onion Business contributors among them. Look for G&R Farms, Keystone Fruit Marketing, Idaho-Eastern Oregon Onion Committee, L&M Companies, Eagle Eye Produce, Minkus Family Farms, Shuman Farms, Wada Farms, Bland Farms, Easterday Farms, Peri & Sons, Columbia Basin Onions, Potandon Produce, Onions 52, Owyhee Produce/Buck Naked Onions, TOP The Onion Group and the Vidalia Onion Committee as well as numerous equipment and supply operations.
Kicking off Thursday, Oct. 17, the IFPA show will include general sessions, a full slate of educational forums and roundtables, guest speakers from across the industry and beyond – and great opportunities to network and meet one-on-one with buyers and clients. Virtually every critical topic will be addressed, and the full schedule is available at https://gpfs24.mapyourshow.com/8_0/explore/session-gallery.cfm?.
Among the speakers at the Atlanta event is Netflix founder and startup CEO Marc Randolf, who will address a Thursday general session with “That Will Never Work: The Birth of Netflix and the Amazing Life of an Idea.”
Randolph shares “the unlikely story of how a handful of dreamers with no money and a bad idea, created the company that eventually brought down Blockbuster.” His account will be packed “with dozens of stories that trace the dramatic ups and downs of those first exciting years, Marc weaves an inspiring story that shows the value of innovation, persistence, and optimism.”
