Parma, ID-based Owyhee Produce recently announced the addition of onion industry veteran Melissa Anderson to its sales team, working from her Georgia office.
“With over four years of diverse experience in onion sales, marketing, and operations, Melissa brings invaluable expertise to Owyhee,” a company announcement said.
“Raised on a farm in Southeast Georgia, Melissa developed a profound connection with agriculture, eventually transitioning to a career in produce sales,” the release continued.
Anderson’s background in leadership, networking, and strategic engagement ensures that “she is well-equipped to navigate the intricacies of the tight-knit onion industry.”
The release also said, “Melissa chose Owyhee not only for its professional opportunities but also for the genuine connection felt with Shay, Angela and the Owyhee team.”
