The National Onion Association (NOA) is gearing up for its 2024 Annual Meeting, scheduled to take place in the historic and beautiful city of Savannah, Georgia, from December 8 to December 11, 2024. This year’s convention promises an engaging lineup of activities and informative sessions, drawing onion industry leaders, growers, shippers, and affiliates from across the nation.
Convention Activities
The 2024 meeting will offer a mix of learning, networking, and recreation. Attendees can look forward to the following events:
- Vidalia Onion Tours – Take a firsthand look at one of the most iconic crops in Georgia.
- Savannah Taste Experience – Savor the unique flavors of Savannah while exploring the city.
- Awards Ceremony – Celebrate the achievements of industry leaders and contributors.
- Information & Research Sessions – Stay updated on the latest onion research, technology, and industry advancements.
- Golf Event – Get ready for some fun on the greens (details below).
- Annual Raffle – A chance to win big while supporting NOA’s promotions program (details below).
The full cost to attend is $975 for NOA members and $575 for spouses or friends.
Hotel Room Availability Notice
Due to high demand, hotel rooms for Savannah are filling up fast. The Alida is fully booked for Friday (Dec. 6) and Saturday (Dec. 7). However, there are still rooms available for the main convention dates (Dec. 8-Dec. 11). Attendees are urged to book their accommodations as soon as possible to secure a spot.
Annual Raffle: Support the NOA Promotions Program
One of the most anticipated events during the convention is the Annual Raffle, which raises vital funds for the NOA promotions program. Raffle tickets, priced at $50 each, have been sent out to trustees, promotions committee members, and NOA members.
The grand prize? $4,500! But for the NOA to give away this prize, we need your participation. Make sure to sell and buy those raffle tickets! The grand prize winner will be announced at the banquet dinner during the convention.

Golf Day: Kicking Off the Convention
If you’re planning to attend the NOA Annual Meeting, you won’t want to miss the chance to join the golf outing, organized by Anthony Molitor, at The Club at Savannah Harbor on Sunday, December 8, 2024.
Golf Event Details:
- Location: The Club at Savannah Harbor, 2 Resort Dr., Savannah, GA 31421

- Time: Tee times start at 9 a.m.
- Rates: $105+tax per player (includes 18 holes of championship golf, shared golf cart with GPS, and range balls).
- Rentals: Callaway rental clubs available for $65+tax per set. Please call the Pro Shop ahead of time to reserve.
Currently, there are 28 available openings for the golf outing, and reservations are on a first-come, first-serve basis. If there’s enough interest, more tee times can be added.
