August is the month for several onion field days in the Northwest, and the popular Pacific Northwest Vegetable Association Conference and Trade Show is coming up later in the year.
The variety field days kick off with the Crookham Onion Showcase in Wilder, ID, on Aug. 27, followed by the Malheur Experiment Station Variety Day in Ontario, OR, on Aug. 28, and the WSU Onion Field Day at Hartley Produce in Prosser, WA, on Aug. 29.
