New to the onion market, Kansas-based Synthetic Resources comes in with options for stretch pallet needs, and one upshot could be a cost savings, according to company spokesperson Tina Liefer.
Tina said the primary difference between ReflectorNET, Synthetic Resources’ pallet wrapping, is more wrap per roll.
“ReflectorNET yields more per roll with up to 100 percent elongation,” she said. “That can potentially save customers on packaging costs.”
The company, founded in 1992 as Pretty Good Twine Co., started off by serving ranchers and farmers with plastic baler twine. Soon FIBERNET, concrete reinforcement, was added to the product line. “In January 2000 we incorporated to Synthetic Resources, Inc.,” Liefer said. “These two product lines might seem to be an unusual combination, but in fact they are very similar. Both of our main product lines, fiber and twine, are produced from the same raw material, polypropylene.”
And now comes the newest kid on the block is ReflectorNET, an elastic pallet wrapping net used in ag industries that require ventilated wrapping.
The manufacturing process gives the product more elasticity, and the company says it is “proven to save 50 to 60 percent of the costs of straps and corners packaging method currently the most popular fresh produce packaging solution world-wide.”
In addition, “This three dimensional product contours around any shape to support your pallets. Helping to ensure safe and secure delivery to the markets. It provides 100 percent breathability and eliminates condensation.”
Liefer said, “Due to our central geographical location, about 35 miles northeast of Wichita, we are able to ship across the continental United States. We offer delivery with our trucks throughout the central U.S. From February to November our trucks are busy delivering to our customers. Our professional delivery staff will go the extra mile to provide the personal… and we have partnered with several outstanding carriers to provide service when you are outside our scheduled route.”
Liefer said the best way to contact Synthetic Resources Inc. is either by phone, (800) 552-3295, or e-mail email@example.com.
