Snake River Produce Co. LLC in Nyssa, OR, announced on Dec. 7 it has partnered with Austin-based Murray Logistics Corp.
Murray Logistics, an agent for Trinity, is based out of Austin, TX, and a joint release noted, SRP chose to “partner solely” with Murray, which will be its “single-source logistics provider for any and all logistical solutions.”
SRP General Manager Joshua Frederick said, “Snake River Produce and Murray Logistics look forward to growing together and the solidification of this working partnership.”
Josh added, “The formation of this partnership will enable Snake River Farms Produce to provide limitless opportunities and flexibility in meeting every one of our customers’ transportation needs, whether it be via truck or rail, or any other mode of transport for that matter.”
Clint Murray, CEO of Murray Logistics, said, “The decision to form this partnership comes after 10-plus years of work collaborating among members of each organization, Snake River Produce and Murray Logistics Corporation. Those members include Joshua Fredrick, of SRP, Clint Murray of MLC, and Robert Riddle, Director of Quality Control for MLC. This long-tenured relationship has resulted in not only a professional friendship but also the establishment of a strong foundation of trust and reliance between both parties.”
The release said, “Murray Logistics’ ability to demonstrate its commitment to providing excellent service, exceeding expectations involving on-time pick-up and deliveries, efficiency in tracking and tracing, receiving ‘real-time’ communication, ensuring the product is delivered in good condition, receiving access to MLC’s network of reliable and vetted carriers, integrating with SRP internally utilizing tools that allow SRP to access load visibility and progress, and helping SRP forecast and meet targeted budget and performance goals has contributed heavily in SRP’s decision to choose MLC as its single-source logistics provider.”
“This partnership is the first step in many to come for implementing a ‘one-stop-shop’ option for our customers, from the actual transactional purchase of the produce all the way to delivery of the goods,” said Clint and Liz Murray, CEO and President, respectively, of Murray Logistics. “We are ready to launch and put our team and skills into action. What a great way to kick off the year 2023!”
