Gills Onions’ Owner/Partner, Steve Gill, has been traveling this past week before Fruit Logistica kicks off. Steve took time to visit onion friends in Europe, including Tom Abrey’s farm in England, Moulton Bulb/Oldershaws, George Rix of Stourgarden in Colchester, England, and Jansen Onions in Germany.
It was a fantastic week traveling and visiting fellow onion friends across the seas. Steve has enjoyed seeing their onion operations, inventories, and technology used for the industry in England, the Netherlands, and Germany. He said they are staying on top of the game and are leading-edge onion producers.
