Registration is open for the upcoming USDA Agriculture Outlook Forum, a hybrid event being held Feb. 23 and 24 at the Crystal City Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA, with all sessions live-streamed on a virtual platform.
More than 30 sessions and 100 agriculture leaders and subject matter experts will discuss key issues impacting the sector, including USDA’s initial forecast for the agricultural economy, commodity markets, and trade in 2023 and the U.S. farm income situation; climate-smart agriculture; supply chain challenges and solutions; factors impacting U.S. trade update and the global marketplace; and food prices outlook.
The Agricultural Outlook Forum is the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s oldest and largest annual event, currently in its 99th year. The two-day event is one of the agricultural sector’s premiere events. Each year, the Forum attracts participants from the government, private sector, stakeholder associations, producers, academia, and the media.
The 2023 Forum will feature a keynote address by Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, a presentation on the 2023 agricultural economy by USDA’s Chief Economist Seth Meyer, a plenary panel of distinguished guest speakers, and 30 breakout sessions organized by agencies across USDA and covering a range of timely issues impacting the agriculture and food sector.
