PMA Fresh Summit in New Orleans will see lots of new technology being exhibited, not the least of which is a new rollstock bagger that will be demonstrated at Volm. Cos.’ Booth 2117.
According to Volm Communications Manager Marsha Verwiebe, the Antigo, WI, company will also be showing a new bagger for pre-made pouches.
“Yes, we’ll be demonstrating our new rollstock bagger for pouches as well as our new pouch bagger for pre-made pouches,” Marsha said. “Both baggers will be filled by the newest 16-scale, stainless steel weigher in our Volmpack lineup.”
Fresh Summit is the preeminent forum for ag equipment, and Marsha said the company is a longtime participant in the show.
“Volm has exhibited at Fresh Summit for over 30 years,” she said. “We’ve used this venue to not only realize new opportunities, but also to strengthen our relationships with our long-time customers, most of whom exhibit as well.”
She said yearly show provides a perfect venue for presenting new products.
“With this being the premier fresh produce marketing event annually, it’s a great opportunity for us to not only showcase how we bring fresh produce to market, but also to learn about current trends and issues facing the industry today,” she said.
