The Greater Tacoma Convention Center will serve as the site of the 30th annual Agricultural Transportation Coalition Meeting June 12-15, and the agenda is packed with sessions addressing some of the produce industry’s most pressing transportation issues – including a shortage of trucks and drivers (and related topics), port situations and rail service.
The event is billed as “The Largest Annual Gathering of Ag Shippers Sourcing and Delivering to Foreign Markets,” and speakers will include Jeremy Nixon, CEO of the new ocean carrier ONE as well as plus SSA and PortsAmerica terminal operators, trucking and rail executives, port authorities from West, East and Gulf coasts, a leading international trade economist and more.
A full speakers list as of early March indicated that Jeremy Nixon will be joined at the convention by Paul Devine, President North America, OOCL; Ed DeNike, Exec.
