Over 250 National Onion Association members and eighty spouse/friends have registered for the National Onion Association Winter Convention being held at the Hilton Desoto Hotel in beautiful downtown Savannah, GA, November 30 through December 3, 2016.
This year’s convention is held in conjunction with the National Allium Research Conference.
The event kicked off with a 5k walk/run on the afternoon of November 30. The course took participants through the quaint city streets and lush parks of Savannah’s signature historic downtown.
Later in the evening, the opening reception drew large numbers of NOA members where they had the opportunity to network with customers and friends.
The conference continues today with NOA board and committee meetings, and combined NOA/NARC sessions in the afternoon.
On Friday, December 2, a field day is planned with visits to Bland Farms, Vidalia onion fields, and dinner at the RT Stanley Lake Lodge.
Check out photos of some of the members that attended the opening reception.
