A special exhibit on the history of Oregon ag and the services and support provided by Oregon State University will kick off at an opening exhibit Aug. 10 from 6- 8 p.m. at the Harano Gallery in Ontario’s Four Rivers Cultural Center and Museum.
The center is located at 676 SW Fifth Ave. in Ontario, and the exhibit is scheduled to run until Sept. 26.
According to a flyer distributed by the OSU Malheur Experiment Station and the OSU Extension Service, “Oregon Agricultural College began in 1868 as a Land Grant College under a law signed by President Abraham Lincoln in 1862.”
