With the launch of its logistics division in late June when the company was just nine months old and its first anniversary officially celebrated on Oct. 1, Colorado’s Paradigm Fresh could well have rested on its laurels, if only briefly.
Instead, company President John Harris announced on Nov. 30 the opening of a new distribution center at 5823 Lima St. in Denver.
“You’ve come to rely on Paradigm Fresh for our fresh approach to produce brokering. Now we bring the same ideas to distribution at our new facility,” a release stated.
As a brokerage, Paradigm handles an assortment of produce items from its Fort Collins offices. Harris, whose background is in onions, has three brokerage team members who are also onion and onion/potato specialists.
The new distribution center is key to covering Paradigm’s bases for bulk storage with accommodations for “virtually any high-volume storage demands your company might have.”
In addition, the multi-temp facility offers solutions for businesses “requiring the storage of delicate, temperature-sensitive materials and products.” There is also cross docking, providing “efficient, direct transfer between inbound and outbound transportation vehicles, minimizing storage time and required storage space,” and Paradigm Fresh utilizes computerized inventory management to provide detailed inventory summaries to all its customers.
Harris said for retail distribution, Paradigm Fresh offers “custom-tailored solutions for transferring your product, as well as the ability to consolidate for your retail customers.”
The new facility boasts six dock-height doors, and the fully covered, secure docks ensure safe and productive loading and unloading in any and all of Denver’s of weather conditions.
The logistics division has a fleet of trucks to provide proper care and delivery as well as status on the shipment.
“Our spacious facility provides us with the capability to load and unload your flat beds,” Paradigm’s recent release said.
